We’ve done a lot of coverage of Alex Honnold over the past few years and it’s easy to forget that there are plenty of other free soloists operating out there. One who you probably won’t have heard of is South African Matt Bush, who’s been quietly soloing some of the hardest routes in his native Country for many years.
He’s currently working on a new film project, documenting his attempts to free solo hard lines on Table Mountain and we caught up with him and his film crew Ruko Media to find out what the free solo experience is like for both athlete and filmmaker.
Thanks to Matt and the guys from Ruko for the interview and the footage. You can look forward to seeing the full film in the next few months. To follow the guys online, check out their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/RUKO-Media/1459097990988851
Check back tomorrow to get’s Adams take on all the Dawn Wall shenanigans. If you’d like to watch that and more episodes when offline, get yourself the EpicTV app to see Adam’s face in glorious HD.
